The IE Sustainable Development Goals Club leads student initiatives to achieve the United Nations 2030 Agenda. We build bridges between students passionate about sustainability and actors, both in the public and private sector, who are planting the seed of change. Our efforts respond to short term and long term needs of the local and international community via our three main pillars: raising awareness, volunteering and fundraising and policy-making.
We organise events and social media campaigns on pressing issues related to sustainability. Some examples include sustainable tourism, social innovation to combat poverty, climate finance and food assistance.
Our time and our resources are the most valuable tools with which we can support the efforts of multilateral organisations and NGOs. We are currently working with Refugiados sin Fronteras, Comida para Todos and Lifting Hands.
We provide a platform for discussion and proposal of innovative solutions by students. Members of the club enjoy a unique learning experience and get to meet influential people in the field, for instance in our "UN Speaker Series".
