DECEMBER IS THE MONTH OF AUTHENTIC CONNECTION

Authentic Connection is about being present, connecting with our true self, our path and with others, just as they are. In the busyness of the season, how can we slow down to be able to connect at a deeper level, to truly listen, understand and respond in ways that strengthen that connection. During the winter holidays we will spend more time with our families and loved ones, and is an opportunity to appreciate our relationships and nurture them. This theme wants to remind the IE community to give our best gift to others, our authentic presence and connection. From the Center for Health, Well-being and Happiness, we wish you these moments of calm and authentic connection!

Factfulness

Social Media Activist Account

When asked simple questions about global trends—what percentage of the world’s population live in poverty; why the world’s population is increasing; how many girls finish school—we systematically get the answers wrong. So wrong that a chimpanzee choosing answers at random will consistently outguess teachers, journalists, Nobel laureates, and investment bankers!!

"It's the quality of your relationships --how much vulnerability and depth exists within them; how safe you feel sharing with one another; the extent to which you can relax and be seen for who you truly are, and truly see another-- that predicts health and fulfillment"  —
